Watch Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai trailer

Salman Khan’s films are synonymous with being mega-blockbusters, complete, paisa-vasool, mass entertainer with adrenaline-pumping action sequences, groovy music, dance moves that end up becoming the nationwide trends, and dialogues that go down as an intrinsic part of pop culture.

In keeping with his promise of mega entertainers every EID, Salman Khan’s next, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, seem to tick all the aforementioned boxes going by its trailer, and what has got us even more excited is how it totally looks like a sequel to 2009’s Wanted, which heralded Bhai’s second coming, and how it appears to be a remake of Korean film, The Outlaws, only in name, with the look and feel being all desi. Directed by Prabhudeva (who had also helmed Wanted), Radhe also stars Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Govind Namdev.

Radhe will release in over 50 countries through digital platforms, with a massive theatrical release in U.A.E, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. The team has also devised a plan to increase Zee 5 subscriber base. “Subscribers can take an annual premium subscription of Zee 5 and in doing so, they get to watch Radhe once for free.

In the film, Salman plays a cop, who works in his own style. This basically means he an “encounter” specialist, that Indian euphemism for cops who are fond of extra-judicial killings. This is your typical Salman film, for better or worse. He plays a larger-than-life character and mouths off bravado-laced one-liners that will, we hope, make sense to Bhai’s fans. It establishes the kind of film Radhe is — a throwback to the naughts — with its feel of Wanted and dialogues from Dabangg further establishing its mood.

Expect a lot of action, some dhuaandhaar dialogues that Bhai’s fans have come to expect from him and dance numbers with film’s leading lady Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez in a cameo.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
